Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum… Well not necessarily a bottle of rum, but this haul of precious booty, picked up at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s recent screening of The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists, was worth its weight in gold doubloons.
The treasure chest, or rather goodie bag, included a mini-chest of its own – a branded money box with lock (this was far and away our youngest correspondent’s favourite item) – as well some tattoos (which last an incredibly long time, we must add) and loads of other bits and pieces, all of which proved nearly as popular as the film. The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists has a total box office haul of nearly £13 million and is due on DVD and Blu-ray later this year…
